Your job

As senior Data Expert, your role will be to help Accenture clients to shape their data strategy, coordinating a team of 5 to 20 consultants:

  • Perform assessment of As-Is data architecture and data capabilities

  • Conduct discovery workshops to understand pain-points and areas of improvements

  • Conduct visionary workshops, using Design Thinking, to shape target vision

  • Conduct Gap analysis, to align on target vision and industry best practices

  • Shape target operating model

  • Define target architecture

  • determine transformation roadmap, investment case and business case

  • Present data strategy to clients, gain buy in, and grow strategic relationships

You will take an active part of the business development of the Accenture Data practice in Luxembourg is:

  • Shape commercial proposals and RFPs answers

  • Animate the community of data practitioners maintaining assets, credentials and service offerings

  • Work in close collaboration with the Worldwide Accenture Global Network of Data experts

Finally, as senior delivery lead, you will have to conduct end-to-end implementation of data platform, from analysis to deployment, leading a team of 15 – 30 analysts, developers and testers.

Your background

  • Minimum Masters’ degree (preferred in IT, Data Science, Big Data, Computer Science, Quantitative Methods or related field with excellent academic performance)

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, preferably in consulting or at high-tech companies

  • Strong passion for the following topics – Advanced Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Architecture, Data Quality Management

  • Practical knowledge of tools, frameworks & technologies within at least one of the following categories:

    • Business Intelligence (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)

    • Machine Learning (R, Python, SAS, SPSS)

    • Big Data (Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL Databases, Data Lakes & Platforms)

    • Cloud Platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS)

  • Strong knowledge of technology trends across IT and digital and how they can be applied to companies to address real world problems and opportunities

  • Team oriented and collaborative working style, both with clients and those within the organization

  • Growth mindset, positive attitude & strong interest to solve client challenges, adapt to a changing work environment & deal with new issues

  • Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder matrix and manage priorities

  • Passion for cultivating long-term relationships with key stakeholders

  • Network and history of successful work with senior executives

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Good level of French would be strong asset
