Functional Analyst (Public Services)

Introduction

We are looking for a Functional Analyst in our Technology Health & Public Services group (Tech H&PS), focusing on the delivery of complex new IT related projects.

The H&PS practice helps public sector organisations such as EU and Belgian governmental institutions to embrace innovation and transform fast, enabling them to operate smarter, achieve more and deliver improved services for citizens. H&PS is a community which performs both sales and delivery-related tasks for our business and our clients;

Your job

As a functional Analyst, you will work for a top client. Together with the client you will write functional documents (requirements, testing) and support writing of technical documentation (detailed design, Request For Change, ….).

You will be integrated into an Accenture team working on the latest technologies focusing on a versatile skillset from Spring to cloud microservices and automation. As such, you will have the opportunity to work with the following tools: latest version of Java, Spring, REST, microservices architecture, CI/CD Automation, DevOps, Docker, No-SQL & Big data, Security, Mobile, VR & AR.

As Functional Analyst, you will:

• Gather and elicit requirements

• Translate requirements in specifications for development (amongst others):

  • Create solution designs

  • Define application interfaces

  • Design operation workflows

  • Design data models

• Ensure developers have everything in hands to succeed

• Support implementation and testing of the solution

• Investigate technological topics

• Collaborate with stakeholders on business and technical side

• SAFe Product Owneror, 

• Professional Scrum Product Owner 

Educational Requirements 

Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience 

Experience  

• 2 to 6 years of experience in a similar position 

• EU-Citizenship

• Strong expertise in functional analysis 

• Experience of working in an Agile environment  

• Ability to communicate efficiently with technical and business stakeholders 

• Fluency in English  

• Good working knowledge of Dutch and / or French 

• Quick-learner, able to think outside of the box and to reinvent him/herself 

• Allow to apply for an EU Security Clearance certificate
