Job Description: 

A successful Salesforce Industries Technical Architect candidate will not only be able to design technical architecture solutions that contain Salesforce Industries products, but also span multiple platforms and include integration across enterprise systems.

They will also manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale, articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture.  The Salesforce Industries Technical Architect will have support from the global delivery capability as well as from local support resources provided by the global team.

We love to talk with candidates who have a long-term goal of being a Salesforce Technical Architect, are comfortable participating and driving Business Development activities, willing and keen to support the build of the European Salesforce Products experts’ community and has interest in, mainly, Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive OES and -OEM Industries.

Typical Day Snapshot – Technical Architect :

  • Collaborate with functional- and technical-team to determine how best to implement Salesforce Industries solutions. Engagements ranging from early-stage prospect conversations up to Program setup at scale.

  • Solution components that are within the Salesforce product suite and outside of it, including:

    • Salesforce Industry solutions.

    • Security

    • Data Integration & Migration

    • Play TA role on Salesforce Industries projects: typically, part-time on more than 1 project at a time.    

    • Manage and develop a team of more junior technical and functional Salesforce industries architects/ developers

    • Sales and Business Support: help scope, solution, and estimate sales opportunities alongside the delivery lead. Assist in SOW creation, etc.

    • Practice Development: Mentor resources, take on leadership roles to expand overall practice capabilities, etc. 

  Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experienced Technical Solution Architect with Industry and IT Enterprise Architecture experience

  • Cloud Solution Architect: Develop Cloud solutions, support sales teams, perform opportunity triage and sales support liaison and coordinate with clients the details of the solution.

  • Has expertise in one or more Salesforce Product Technologies and is capable of embedding these capabilities into existing or new Salesforce Platform based solutions

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in technology implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects. 

  • Minimum of 4 years of technical experience on the platform. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.  

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with a Salesforce Industries product.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions – cloud computing strategy, systems design, implementation and management.   

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team.   

  • Experience with Communications, Healthcare or Financial Services industries (Preferred).
