The Financial Services Industry Group is looking for its future Sales Manager ! In this role, you will be a key member of the Sales team, driving teams in the pursuit of new transformation opportunities in the Financial Services industry. You will drive the sales process and grow a profitable pipeline trough deal origination, sales negotiations and closure. You will manage opportunities from sales pursuit to actual closing, using deep sales process and offering expertise, while developing relationship with key buyers and decision makers at new and/or existing clients. You have a driving and positive attitude and enjoy working in a team, using your creative, organizational and analytical skills to bring the best we have to offer to our clients

Your job

Key responsibilities:

  • Work in close collaboration with Belux and Gallia Sales leadership, Client Account Leads and Sales leads as they bring innovative solutions to our clients
  • Drive the opportunities end-to-end from origination to deal shaping, negotiations and deal closure, taking the lead in shaping client-specific value propositions and top-notch proposals
  • Build relationships within Accenture and with our Financial Services clients
  • Engage and manage deal teams and team members
  • Develop sales acumen, learn the Accenture suite of offerings and sales methodology, and how we help C-levels transform their organization to make them future proof

Your background

  • Master’s degree in any educational background, or Bachelor’s degree with relevant years of experience;
  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience in consulting and business development, financial services and/or consulting;
  • Experience as a consultant within the Financial Services industry and/or as a team leader are a strong added value;
  • Proven track record of working with rapidly changing deadlines and having a willingness to move in a fast-paced, pressured environment;
  • Strong team player with a history of working well across organizations, plus if experience with stakeholders at senior management level and/or C-level executives;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch/French;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as organizational skills;
  • Structured way of thinking and presenting;
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with others;
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, while keeping an eye to details
